My brother asked me to design him a banner for his facebook/website as his band has just been signed to a label. He describes the band as quirky indie pop so I tried to be as “quirky” as I could. I quite like it. I drew the text/other bits but really it was slapping a couple of pics in photoshop.

So true it’s ridiculous it’s exactly the same for Uni Pin fine liners and clear plastic portfolios too!

Write One Word Over and Over:

I chose Anthony because the day I started this my boyfriend who lives alllllll the way in NY finally arrived in the UK for the summer :) happy days!
 

Scratch Using a Sharp Object:

I used my plastic quill to scratch this page. You can see has had a lot of use and is now permanently stained with black ink :) Most of my peers know I am a huge fan of hand generated typography and hand rendered graphic design so my quill and ink is one of my favorite items.

Poke Holes in This Page Using a Pencil:

So I’ve been pushing through this at a rapid pace…I know I shouldn’t I have nearly 4 months vacation but It is so much fun! Inspiration for this page I really don’t have any! I just let the pen flow onto the page and went with it.

So today I am starting a “Wreck This Journal”. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while but seeing my flatmate creating hers I’ve decided why not? I need something to keep the creative juices flowing over the summer :)…Exciting!

My boyfriend Anthony graduated today, I am so proud it’s unreal :’) I love you honey and I’ll see you Thursday!
